Position Overview

We are seeking a Product Operations professional to manage and optimize customer communication systems and operational workflows at RiseUp. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in customer engagement platforms and data analysis tools.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Communication Management

  • Administer and configure Intercom platform for customer support and engagement
  • Manage WhatsApp messaging operations and workflows
  • Design and implement automation flows for customer communications
  • Create and maintain HTML email templates and campaigns

Technical Operations

  • Build and maintain operational automation flows across customer touchpoints
  • Write and execute SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
  • Develop JavaScript functions within Segment for data processing and customer tracking
  • Monitor and optimize communication system performance

Process Optimization

  • Identify opportunities to streamline operational workflows
  • Implement and maintain automated processes to reduce manual work
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams on system integrations
  • Document processes and maintain operational procedures

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of operational experience in a technology environment
  • Previous experience in fintech or B2C companies preferred
  • Proven track record with customer communication platforms

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Intercom administration and configuration
  • Experience with WhatsApp Business API and messaging workflows
  • Strong HTML/CSS skills for email template creation
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for data analysis
  • JavaScript programming experience, particularly with Segment
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and customer engagement tools
